The Clark Smith Trio – Jazz Trio for DU Vin Wine Festival, Sunday, November 8th
The Clark Smith Trio is a modern jazz tenor trio, which features Max Abrahams on acoustic bass, Justin Ehmer on drums and Clark Smith on tenor saxophone. The trio is rooted in the music of the jazz greats, but also draws inspiration from modern jazz and world music. Besides the Clark Smith Trio, Max, Justin, and Clark play in the seven man progressive rock/fusion group Bokonon, which just released an EP for free download at their website http://www.bokononmusic.com. Clark and Justin also make up the electro hiphop duo DYNOHUNTER, which features Justin Ehmer, AKA “Plutonik and Clark “The DYNOHUNTER” Smith.
