Sommelier and plan grand parties for every occasion. To continue to enjoy food
and wine and balance that love with a lot of exercise.

Best/Most memorable experience with wine: during my study abroad
experience in Dijon, Burgundy, France. I was able to taste wonderful wines at a
very affordable price. I also saw some beautiful wineries, and the vineyard
where Pinot Noir was first cultivated. It was amazing!

Plans after graduation: I plan to go into event / venue management
after I graduate from KSHM.

a dinner. I had just moved into a lovely single family home with the most
glamorous kitchen I had ever had in a residence. It was thirteen girlies, some
perfectly cooked salmon, and lovely greens :)

Best/most memorable experience with wine: Drinking Bonny Doon’s
2008 DEWN Ca’ del Solo Grenache Blanc while cleaning up a massive mess
resulting from a three-day wine symposium which I helped organize and execute.
It was a windy summer day in the Southern Rhone and I was completely
sleep-deprived.

Plans after graduation: To start getting certified with the Court
of Master Sommeliers while working in some area of the wine industry.

Best/Most memorable experience with wine: For me, wine is a key
element for family gatherings. Thanksgiving, birthdays, or random evenings
enjoying the company of those I haven’t seen in a long time with a few bottles
of wine are what I think of when . Though the kinds of wine are rarely
remembered past the following morning, this mentality of wine has made me a
wine lover, and the acquired taste has followed.

Best/most memorable experience with wine: took couple bottles of
100-dollar wine for a jeep ride on top of Aspen mountain in the middle of the
night and didn’t spill a drop it on the way

Favorite place to go out in Denver: My favorite place to go out in
Denver is Max’s gill and grill and Governors Park tavern

Most memorable wine experience: I studied four months in Seville,
Spain and one of the trips I went on was to Jerez which is the capital of
Sherry country. We went on a wine tour at Tio Pepe which is the worlds best
selling Fino. Sherry is an interesting identifiable wine that goes well with
the Spanish tapas such as olives and cheese. It was a great experience and so
nice to try the regions wines!

Plans after graduation: After graduation I plan to work in event
management in New York or Los Angeles.

places in the city, my most recent find was Linger’s in the Highlands – great
outdoor rooftop patio

Best/Most memorable experience with wine: I lived in France for 4
months and drank wine with close friends many of the nights I was there. Every
time I drink wine I still think of the beautiful public squares I enjoyed with
friends

Plans after graduation: I’m hoping to stay in Denver and do
something with Food and Beverage (& wine!) upon graduation
